Hieroglyphs

If you would like to know the meaning of Hieroglyphs then read on.

Introduction

Hieroglyphs are pictures used as signs in writing. Usually during deciphering hieroglyphs it is common practice to transliterate the sounds of hieroglyphs. The only strange thing about Hieroglyphs is that they are not used to write vowels.
Hieroglyphs are not arranged one after the other like in our own alphabet, but instead are arranged into 'blocks'. When you meet a block of Hieroglyphs the rule is to read from right to left and when there are two or more on top of each other then read the top ones before the bottom ones and then carry on.
When reading and pronouncing Hieroglyphs the normally adopted convention is to insert an 'e' between each consonant, except in the cases of '?' and '?' wher 'a' is used and 'w' where 'u' is used. This is because it is easier for us to pronounce them this way.
